Nike's 30th anniversary campaign

Nike's 30th "Just do it" slogan anniversary was one to remember. The campaign was memorable, it starred Colin Kaepernick with sub stars like Serena Williams, LeBron James, and Odell Beckham Jr. The Campaign starred former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Colin took a knee at one of his games while the american national anthem was playing. Colin was protesting against oppression and racism plaguing the black community of the United States. "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media. Since the incident Colin lost his job and has been unemployed for a whole year. Many companies who saw this as "disrespectful" or "rebellious".
